Prop the frame up on pivoting PVC pipes for ventilation, direct sunlight, or working ease. Cold Frames need to be anchored to the ground to withstand high winds. Tent stakes or a small anchoring system is sufficient for tying it down. The propagating frame should be anchored on the back corner pegs. A base frame can be made from 2x4 or 2x6 boards as shown in the photo above but is not required (wood not included).
