WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU ORDER ONLINE?
|
All online orders are
initially processed and based on the List Price. After you place your
order online you will receive an initial auto response e-mail to confirm
your order. If you have any discounts coming, they will not be reflected
in this first e-mail. After we fully process your order, usually within
one business day, you will receive a second and final e-mail invoice
with the Subject Heading "This is Your Invoice". This final Invoice and
will detail the total cost of your order including all material you have
ordered, shipping & handling cost and all discounts that apply. You will
be able to then confirm your order by return e-mail. Most orders will
ship within 5 business days from the time we send the final e-mail
invoice. SHIPPING DETAILS: Shipping is based on a number of factors including Weight, Quantity, Shipping Container, Crating and the Shipping Destination Point. Most orders ship within 2 to 5 business days. Larger orders may require 5 to 8 business days to ship. Allow 5 to 7 days transit time. You will be sent tracking information at the time your order ships. If you are ordering large items such as polycarbonate multiwall, you will need to contact the shipping company at the location given to you in your tracking information. In the tracking information, you will also get a "pro shipping number" to identify your order to the shipper. Shipping is insured during transit, so when the order arrives inspect the shipment for any outward signs of damage. If there is any damage to the shipping packaging, inspect the contents of the shipment in front of the delivery driver. If there is any damage that is not acceptable to you, have the driver write a description of the damage on the delivery invoice and sign his name. PLEASE INSPECT ORDER AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY - If your order is damaged in any way that is not acceptable to you, you may refuse the shipment. Make sure to sign the BOL (Bill of Lading) as “refused due to damage”. We will reship ASAP at no cost to you, providing the BOL is marked "damaged". Otherwise, you will have accepted the order as is. Any damage claim will require a photo and a signed BOL stating that product was damaged at the time of delivery. This is for your protection, because you will be responsible for the delivery once you sign for it. If you follow the above procedure, you can then call us and we will arrange for any missing or replacement parts to be sent to you ASAP without delay or cost. We make every attempt to ship at reasonable and competitive prices. With some small orders we may be able to ship UPS, but more than likely your order will have to be shipped by truck freight. Because of minimum shipping weights established by the trucking industry, truck freight will generally run $300 or more, even if only a few full size sheets are ordered. |
